President 

The President is responsible for the general supervision of SEI-MD. The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors. The President shall call special meetings of the Board of Directors or of the members as deemed appropriate. The President shall be empowered to appoint committees and chairpersons for those committees as deemed necessary for the functioning of SEI-MD, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors of SEI-MD. The President shall attend monthly ASCE-MD board meetings to provide the SEI-MD institute update and attend monthly activities coordination meetings with SEI National.

Past-President

The Past-President shall serve as chair of the Nominating Committee. 

Vice President

In the absence of the President, or in case of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President shall perform the duties of the President. The Vice-President shall also shall pursue sponsors, meeting presenters, and event opportunities.

Treasurer

The Treasurer shall monitor management of the financial affairs of SEI-MD. The Treasurer shall establish and maintain a record of income and expenditures and shall be prepared to present an accounting of affairs as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors of SEI-MD. The Treasurer shall maintain records of attendee registration and payment for events, preparing sign-in sheets and name-tags for each event. The Treasurer shall coordinate with ASCE-MD to balance SEI's budget.

Secretary

The Secretary shall give notice of, attend, and keep minutes of all meetings of SEI-MD. The Secretary shall have custody of minutes. The Secretary shall also coordinate with the host for meetings and events for date/time and food. The Secretary shall issue event announcements and email blasts.
